What: Historic House
Where: Next to the Oil Mill at the side of the canal
Then: Forming part of the Oil Mill estate, the current house was built in the early 19th century but incorporates fragments of its 17th century predecessor
Now: A private house

Bridge House stands next to Oil Mill at the side of the canal, and is rather hidden by tall trees. This attractive five-bay ashlar-faced house was built in the early 19th century, but incorporates some fragments of its 17th century predecessor.

In the grounds is a canal overflow weir of the same design as the one in the grounds of nearby Holly Tree House; both houses were part of the Oil Mill estate in the 18th century.
