Amidst all this, St Laurence, Stroud's parish church has stood tall since the 1300s and still boasts a healthy congregation. Although parts of the church have not withstood the ravages of time and have needed re-building, it is an ornate and highly decorated church and testimony to many local craftsmen over the centuries. |
